The Governor of the Busoga Consortium, Bishop Frank Tibagendeka, represented by the Mayor of Jinja City His Worship Alton Peter Kasolo Okocha has officially flagged off a 10-member delegation for a two-week intensive training at China Agricultural University in Beijing, China.
The training aims to equip the team with advanced skills in modern agricultural practices to support the recently launched Village Agriculture Model, a program initiated by the Vice President to transform agriculture in Busoga.
The delegation comprises members of the Busoga Consortium’s secretariat, representatives from the Busoga Kingdom, and key regional leaders.
This initiative is part of a broader collaboration between the Busoga Consortium for Development, China Agricultural University, and Tencent Group, geared towards advancing commercial agriculture in the region.
